Rio Las Vegas: Poker Tournament Schedule

You can be sure of getting a professional poker experience at Rio. With a poker tournament schedule staffed only by experienced, fully certified poker dealers, and slightly higher buy-ins than neighboring casinos such as the Tropicana and Mirage, the Rio is the place to go for affordable, yet serious, poker tournament play.

Rio Daily Poker Tournament Schedule

The Rio offers two daily tournaments at 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. in the main poker room, located next to the race and sports book area.

The buy-in cost for the 10 a.m. tournament is $60, with 3,000 chips. Players can pay an additional $5 for a bonus 1,000 chips at the time of buy-in. Blinds increase every 20 minutes during the tournament.

The night game, starting at 9 p.m., requires a higher buy-in of $75 for 3,000 chips, and again the option to include a $5 bonus buy of 1,000 chips exists. Blind level increases are set at 20 minutes, as in the morning tournament.

Rio Poker Room

Both tournaments offer No Limit Texas Hold-'Em game play, but if you prefer to play a different game, a variety of options are available in the Rio Poker Room. Multiple varieties of Omaha, Badugi, Triple Draw and 7-Card Stud are on offer.
