Excalibur Poker Tournaments: Strip Poker and More...

The Excalibur poker tournaments include Saturday strip poker tournaments at 9:00 p.m. each week. If the idea of playing strip poker with a group of hardened Las Vegas poker tournament regulars isn't exactly appealing, you're not alone. Thankfully the Excalibur has a novel solution -- a professional dancer is the one to strip.

Teams of 20 players compete in the tournament, and the dancer removes one of her 10 removable items of clothing each time two players are eliminated. She remains minimally, but modestly covered even at the end of the game. The winner takes a guaranteed cash prize of at least $500 and gets a picture with the dancer. As you would expect, casino security is in full effect and gentlemanly behavior is required.

Excalibur Poker Tournaments: Daily No-Limit Texas Hold-'Em

If you're in the mood for a more traditional poker tournament -- or you just prefer a deeper stack of chips -- select one of the Excalibur's four daily Texas Hold-'Em tournaments.

The 9:00 a.m. tournament requires only a $25 buy-in and 2,000 starting chips, making it an affordable option for all levels of player. Starting blinds are set at 50/100 and increase every 15 minutes.

Additional tournaments are available at 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. The buy-in is higher -- $40 -- and starting chips are set at 3,000. Starting blinds are again 50/100, increasing every 15 minutes.

The last tournament of the day starts at 8 p.m. Sunday through Friday this is available at a lower rate of $30 buy-in and 2,500 starting chips, with 50/100 blinds, increasing at 15-minute intervals.

$10 add-ons are available and will get you and additional 1,000 chips, but must be purchased at the initial buy-in or re-buy. You can re-buy once per player, per tournament and it will only be allowed before the break.
